This page shares personal stories from immigrants and second-generation youth. The goal is to show many different sides of what it means to live between cultures. These are not edited or filtered to sound perfect. They are real people sharing real moments from their lives.

Some stories are about challenges — like learning a new language, dealing with stereotypes, or feeling stuck between two identities. Others talk about pride, success, or things that helped along the way — like a good teacher, a local community center, or a supportive friend.

There is no one way to be an immigrant. Every person’s story is different, and every voice matters.

You will find short interviews, written stories, and sometimes audio or photos. New content will be added often. Some of these stories come from students, others from families or community leaders. Over time, we hope to include voices from different backgrounds and countries.

We also hope this page can help young people feel seen. If you are an immigrant or the child of one, you might recognize parts of yourself here. If you are not, this is a chance to learn and listen.

If you would like to share your story, or know someone who might, you can reach out through the contact page. We believe that listening is the first step to building real connection between communities.
